When we do a warranty repair any labour and parts are charged to Apple.
Once the warranty is accepted by Apple we get credited for the cost of faulty parts and labour.
If the warranty is not accepted by Apple we end up paying for the repair, which we can not afford to do.
Not in Warranty
Any cosmetic damage to outer casing, like scratches and cracks. Any customer abuse like bent or broken plugs, levers, buttons, etc. Any software issues.
From Apple legal agreement supplied with any Apple product: "Software distributed by Apple with or without the Apple brand name (including, but not limited to system software) is not covered under Limited Warranty."
£ 60 £70.50 inc. VAT per hour
In Warranty
Any genuine malfunction in Apple branded hardware products. Any hardware induced fault manifested permanently or intermittently.
From Apple legal agreement supplied with any Apple product: "Apple warrants Apple-branded hardware product against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of retail purchase by the original end-user purchaser."
